Choosing Metal or Acetate - Anti blue light glasses

When buying anti blue light glasses your two main choices in terms of frame materials are metal or acetate (plastic).

There are advantages and disadvantages to both.

Metal frames are generally lighter and can be adjusted to fit quiet easily.

Plastic frames are generally available in a bigger variety of shapes, sizes and colours but cannot be adjusted to the same extent as metal frames.

They tend to fit more comfortably on the nose as the weight is spread more widely across the nose rather than the full weight bearing down on two small nose pads as with metal frames. They also can fit thicker lenses better than a metal frame and are more suited to the wrap around shape.

Some people are allergic to materials such as nickel in metal frames or the silicone in the nose pads.
